From the very beginning, Better Half Events was organized, proactive, and truly invested in making our day perfect. Their regular check-in emails, detailed monthly checklists, and frequent phone and video calls (flexibly planned around our crazy schedules) kept us on track and helped us figure out what we really want and how to do it on a budget. They sourced incredible dried flowers at an unbelievable price, did all our centerpieces in the dining and reception halls, handcrafted boutonnieres for all the groomsmen, coordinated our rehearsals and ceremony flawlessly, and executed complicated plans spanning multiple distant indoor and outdoor spaces seamlessly. Thanks to Alice and Mel, we were actually able to relax, focus on ourselves, each other, and our very big day. We can’t recommend Better Half Events enough!!”

“When I got engaged, I knew that Alice was going to be with me during the entire process. Her eye for detail was so necessary, and she helped to act as an interpreter when my husband & I struggled to explain our vision. She was so good at executing the design and paper elements we wanted, giving a cohesive flow between invitations, seating chart, place cards, and more. As a bridesmaid, Alice was with me all day but also helped liaise with our day of coordinator and the event staff at The Eglinton Grand to ensure everything ran smoothly. She has an innate ability to get shit done and it was such a blessing to have her help from engagement to wedding day. And since we had so much fun during the planning process, we thought we could share our expertise with future brides & grooms! And so Better Half Events was dreamed up and has now become a reality.”
